The Federation of Altadenica (pronounced AHL-tah-DEEN-ee-kah), known simply as Altadenica, is a collection of city-states on the Simbo River in northern Trinubes technically united under a powerless Tharisa and the Falando in capital city of Altadena. The nation's structure is reminiscent of that of the Federation of Tugal to the south, which has had a major impact on the Altadenican culture and general mentality. Originally, the Altadenican people were bands of tradesmen who were among the first of those reached by Tugali colonists from Simbopolis during the Median Era, and traded readily with them for lindories and other goods. The presence of Fortaleza Horizonte nearby, a Simbopolian trading post, fostered trade that allowed Altadenican people to prosper. Eventually, Altadenicans decided to take the initiative in trading as Simbopolian influence in the area started to wane, and when the Tugali War of Unification broke out and Simbopolis was destroyed, Fortaleza Horizonte was attacked and captured, and the Altadenicans moved north and destroyed Fortaleza Janeiro and Fortaleza Nova Oporto Arawica in the Transimboi Mountains in the Horizontian War. Altadenica controlled all major trade routes in the region through their small capital city at Altadena until peace was reestablished in the Tugali Federation and the Yardianic Trade Route was created. Altadena and surrounding allied city-states failed to stop the deterioration of trade. The Altadenicans attempted, with little success, to annihilate any local tribe that chose to accept positions as Tugali mercenaries, and raids on Tugali lands became so intense that the Tugali Federation moved to establish Florianópolis on Fortaleza Floripa's ramparts.

When the Valentine War broke out between the Republic of Goba and Tugal, Altadenica met with Goba and signed the Mydenican Accords, which officially allied the two against Tugal and the Vitalla. Altadenica used the opportunity to invade and capture Tugali colonies, although their invasions have been repeatedly repulsed or reversed.

Altadenica today continues to devote most of its resources to stemming Tugali expansion in the north Simbo region, and the violence in the area is due largely to their actions. It is a computer nation that was officially recognized on 28 January 2010.
